How It Happened
- It was a tennis match in the early minutes of tonight's contest as each side traded buckets going back and forth before eventually locking up at 11-all before the Rams tried to pull away.
- However, Gordon's big men, Omslaer and Caleb Scot kept it close, laying up a pair of shots in the paint to keep it a three-point game midway through the first half.
- With just over seven minutes on the board until halftime, Hale hit a three from downtown to give the Rams a 10-point lead.
- The Scots continued to shrink the Rams' lead, as five different Fighting Scots sunk timely shots before Zach Quanico drained a three to cut the deficit to two with 1:21 remaining in the first. After a Suffolk jumper, the score was 35-31 in favor of the Rams at halftime.
- The Rams came out of the break on a mission, led by their would be leading scorers of Jacovides, Hale, and Rowe who each netted 11, 10, and 10 points, respectively, in the second half alone to secure the 15-point victory over the Scots.
