MIT Bests Scots In Season-Opener

Gordon College Field Hockey hit the road this evening to square off against the MIT Engineers on their home turf. The Engineers orchestrated an 8-0 victory over the Fighting Scots.

How It Happened
  • Just over three minutes into the first frame, MIT got on the board to make it 1-0.
  • The Scots had their best opportunity in the closing seconds of third as the blue and white earned a trio of penalty corners but were unable to convert.
  • MIT tacked on another goal in the fourth to secure the 8-0 win.
