Neither team could miss for the next two and a half minutes with both sides putting up four shots each and going a perfect 4-4 to bring the score to RWU 44-43 Gordon at the 1:25 mark. Makiej and Smith hit the final two layups of the half to put the blue and white on top by three points at the break (47-44).
