In celebration of their seniors this afternoon, Gordon College Men's Soccer hit their home turf to square up against CCC foe Suffolk University where the Fighting Scots were defeated, 0-2 after 90 minutes of battle.

How It Happened

• After more than half of a scoreless first frame, Suffolk was able to get on the board at the 26:45 mark to grab the 1-0 lead. A minute and ten seconds later, Gordon's Casey Torres retaliated with a shot, but it was unable to cross the goal line, missing wide of the net. With 27 ticks left on the clock, the Scots attempted to tie it up with a corner kick placed by Benji Dahlke right in front of the net which senior Rachid Bilotti tried to redirect into the goal with a header but it was unable to penetrate Suffolk's last line of defense. 
• The Rams came back from the break hungry to lengthen their edge as just over seven minutes into the new half, Suffolk mustered a breakaway goal to take the 2-0 lead. The Fighting Scots battled for a goal as they roped seven shots in the remainder of regulation but it wasn't enough as they took the eventual 0-2 loss.

• The Scots celebrated seniors Dayton Crocker, George Coogan IV, and Julius Swaim as well as graduate student Rachid Bilotti and team manager Elim Thomas.
• The Fighting Scots return to the Brigham Athletic Complex for their final regular season match up against the Curry College Colonels on Tuesday, October 25 at 4 p.m.
