Gordon College Women's Lacrosse opened the 2022 campaign at the Brigham Athletic Complex this afternoon as they hosted the Clark University Cougars in a non-conference matchup. Led by a steady offensive attack, the Fighting Scots earned their first win of the season, 17-14.

How it Happened
- Despite the Cougars getting on the board first, Gordon responded just under four minutes later as Lecci found the back of the net off an assist from Beling.
- After Clark grabbed a 2-1 lead, the Fighting Scots went on their first of four scoring sprees in which they registered at least three unanswered goals. The largest of these came in the third quarter, as Mini, Mansfield, and LaPia tallied five unanswered goals to take a 15-7 lead.
- The Fighting Scots weathered the storm in the final frame to come away with their first win of the 2022 season.
