On the first day of the Spring Tennis Fest, Gordon College Men's Tennis squared up against the Yellow Jackets of Baldwin Wallace University (BWU) in Hilton Head, South Carolina where BWU doubled up the Scots, 6-3.

In doubles, the Fighting Scots' John Marineau and Nathan Gonzalez earned a hard fought battle in the No. 2 position, defeating their counterparts, 8-7 (7-4) to give Gordon their lone double match victory.

Despite the Yellow Jackets sealing the deal after taking the first three singles matches, Gordon collected wins from No. 4 Alex Ryzi, 6-2, 6-4 as well as Ezekiel Hall, 7-6, 6-0 in the No. 1 slot.

Gordon takes the courts early tomorrow morning to face Penn State Behrend at 8:30 a.m.
