Gordon College Men's Tennis kept their win streak going this afternoon when they hosted the Curry College Colonels at the Brigham Athletic Complex for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup where the Fighting Scots shutout their visitors, 9-0 for their third conference win in a row.
Nathan Gonzalez and
Adrian Thomas started off the winning parade with an 8-0 doubles victory in the No. 3 spot just before
Ezekiel Hall and
Mark Noschese did the same on court number one. Lastly,
John Marineau and
Alex Ryzi locked in the doubles sweep for the Scots after overpowering their opponents, 8-1.
Next in singles action,
Brendan Tuttle kept the Fighting Scots' momentum going with a quick 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 6 spot. Shortly after that, Hall clinched the match for the Scots after soaring over his counterpart, 6-1, 6-0. The rest of the Fighting Scots stayed undefeated in the remainder of the singles battles to blank the Colonels, 9-0.
The Scots return to the Brigham Complex on Thursday, April 21 to battle the Western New England Golden Bears at 3:30 p.m.
