Gordon College Men's Soccer traveled to Beverly tonight for their first Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) match up of the season against the Endicott College Gulls where the Fighting Scots held the Gulls scoreless until the second half when Endicott put two up on the board to grab the 2-0 win. 

How It Happened

• Both squads went back and forth in the first half, trading off shots, however, the Gulls were able to outshoot the Scots five to three in the first 45 minutes of action. But Gordon's defense was unbreakable, keeping the game scoreless heading into the break. 
• The Gulls came back firing as just 2:35 into the second Endicott's Tiago Frazao attacked the net which Scot keeper Gunnar Lucuk quickly denied. Not long after, Gordon's George Coogan IV launched two shots high and wide of the goal within a two minute span but the Gulls answered back with their first goal of the game at the 56:38 mark. Just over one minute later, Endicott added another goal to their tally to take a 2-0 lead. With 32:13 remaining on the clock, the Fighting Scots attempted to close the gap but they weren't able to penetrate the Gull's defense, taking the eventual 0-2 loss.

• The Fighting Scots return to the Brigham Athletic Complex on Tuesday, September 20 when they invite the Husson University Eagles for a 6 p.m. game.
