Gordon College Men's Tennis traveled to Springfield, Massachusetts this morning to square off against the Pride of Springfield College where the home team was able to edge the Fighting Scots, 5-4. 

Both No. 1 (Ezekiel Hall and Joshua Noel) and No. 2 doubles (Jeffrey Bodner and James Wellborn) took down their counterparts by identical scores of 8-3. Then, at No. 3 doubles, Carleton Riester and Adrian Thomas secured the sweep of doubles with an 8-6 victory to take the 3-0 lead heading into singles.

Despite another Scot victory at No. 1 singles thanks to Hall (6-1, 6-1), the Pride came back fighting, taking the eventual 5-4 victory over the blue and white.

The Scots finish off their fall season on Thursday, October 13 as they host Assumption at 3:30 p.m. at the Brigham Athletic Complex.
