Gordon College Men's Soccer continued non-conference play tonight as they invited the Norwich Cadets to the Brigham Athletic Complex where the Fighting Scots were bested by their guests, 0-3. 

How It Happened

• The Scots nearly drew first blood as Benji Wright came close to capitalizing on a beautiful cross in the air from Julius Swaim with a nail-biting header just left of the goal. However, Norwich quickly answer back with a goal to take an early lead at the 8:11 mark. Both squads ping ponged control to freeze the score at 0-1 heading into the second half. 
• Norwich tacked on to their advantage with another goal just 2:21 after returning from the break (2-0). The Cadets were able to add another to their tally with 25:28 remaining to lock in the eventual 3-0 shutout victory.

Beyond The Box Score

• Freshman Gunnar Lucuk booked his first collegiate save in goal tonight. 
• The Fighting Scots travel to Wheaton, Mass. on Wednesday, September 7 to square up against the Wheaton College Lyons at 5 p.m. for a non-conference competition.
