Gordon College Men's Basketball hit the road this evening for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup against the league undefeated Golden Bears of Western New England (WNE) where the Golden Bears defended their home court in a 92-63 victory over the Fighting Scots.
For the Scots,
Michael Makiej had 13 points,
Tyler Long added seven points, while
Rob Shelansky chipped in seven points and eight rebounds.
WNE'sÂ
Brian Geitner had a game-high 21 points,
Gavin Greene netted 18, while
Mike Resnick had 13 points in the win.

How It Happened
- A Bryce Smith jumper locked it up at 8-8 five minutes into the first half, but the high-flying Golden Bears doubled up the score, 20-10 at the 12:24 mark. A possession later, Justin Yu hit a deep three-pointer for the blue and white to cut the deficit to seven points. However, WNE continued to maintain their lead as the home team took a 43-26 advantage at the break,
- WNE came out firing in the second half and never looked back, outpacing the Scots 49 to 37 secure the 29-point home court win
