Gordon College Field Hockey hosted crosstown rival Endicott College at the Brigham Athletic Complex this evening in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play. The Gulls proved to be too much for the Fighting Scots as the visitors defeated Gordon by a score of 9 - 0.

How It Happened

• Gordon keeper Allyson Stauffer was a force to be reckon with right out of the gates, turning away eight Endicott shots before the Gulls were able to break through 13 minutes into the game. 
• Endicott added three more in the second to hold a 4 - 0 advantage at the half.
• Despite six saves in the third, the visitors were able to widen the gap to eight goals before tacking on one more in the final frame en route to the 9 - 0 win. 

Beyond The Box Score

• Allyson Stauffer recorded a monstrous career-high 28 saves. 
• Gordon returns to conference play on Tuesday, October 17 as they travel to Dudley, Mass. to square off against the Bison of Nichols College at 7 p.m.
