Gordon College Field Hockey hit the road this evening for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup against the Nichols College Bison. After 60 minutes of play, the Bison were able to narrowly defeat the Fighting Scots, 1 - 0.

How It Happened

• Seven shots in the first half by the Nichols College Bison were fought off by Gordon keeper Allyson Stauffer to keep the score at 0 - 0 heading into halftime. 
• Rachel Korwan nearly drew first blood, but the Nichols' keeper was able to keep the Scots off the board. 
• Stauffer continued to dominate in the cage, keeping the Bison at bay, but in the 48th minute, the home team was able to break through and go on top, 1 - 0 and secure the win.

• The Fighting Scots return to action on Saturday, October 21 to host the University of New England Nor'easters for Senior Day at 12 p.m. at the Brigham Athletic Complex.
