It was Senior Day for the Gordon College Fighting Scots Field Hockey squad as they took to the Brigham Athletic Complex in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup against the No. 1 CCC ranked University of New England Nor'easters. The Scots fell short as the Nor'easters were able to take the win 7-1. <br />

<strong>How It Happened</strong>
<ul>
<li>In the first half, the Scots had a solid defensive performance allowing only two goals for No. 1 ranking UNE, as they were able to get 36 shots. </li>
<li>After halftime, UNE came out on the attack as they were able to score four goals, putting the Nor'easters up 6-0 at the end of the third. </li>
<li>In the 52nd minute, the Fighting Scots were awarded a corner and took the opportunity to convert as
Madison Ahern shot deflected and pinged into the back of the goal. </li>
