Gordon College Men's Soccer welcomed the Roger Williams Hawks this evening to the Brigham Athletic Complex as both sides continued Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play. The Hawks looked as though they were going to come away with the victory, but Gordon was able to find the back of the net late to earn the 1 - 1 draw.

How It Happened

• The visitors held the shot advantage in the first half, but Hudson Bennett recorded five saves to keep the Hawks scoreless. 
• Roger Williams knuckled a ball over the goal line bouncing off a few defenders to take the 1 - 0 lead in the 50th minute. 
• In the 89th minute, rookie Luke Lindas threaded a pass to junior Benji Wright who ripped in a shot past a diving RWU keeper to knot up the scoreboard at 1 - 1 and ensure the eventually stalemate.

Beyond The Box Score

• Luke Lindas registered his second assist of the season and first assist in conference play. 
• The Fighting Scots hit the road on Saturday, October 21 to square off against the Suffolk University Rams.
