Vikings Navigate Scots In Non-Conference Action

Gordon College Field Hockey returned to action this evening at the Brigham Athletic Complex to host the Salem State Vikings where the Vikings come away with a 5 - 0 win over the Fighting Scots. 

How It Happened
  • Keeper Sophea Zaskoda made four saves in the first quarter to keep the Vikings off the board, but the visitors were able to knock in three in the second frame to lead by three at halftime. 
  • The Vikings added two more insurances goals in the second half to secure the 5 - 0 road win.
Beyond The Box Score
  • Sophea Zaskoda reached double digits saves for the third time this season. 
  • Next up for the Fighting Scots is a conference contest on October 12 as they host the Endicott College Gulls at 7 p.m.
