How It Happened
- Isaac Jarvis helped start the Fighting Scots off as he converted for the first bucket of the contest. At the 15 minute mark, Smith knocked down back-to-back threes' putting Gordon up by one (10-9). The Hawks came back with a five-point cushion before the Scots were able to tie the game up four more times before break, where the Hawks were only up by two (29-27).Â
- The Hawks came out looking to extend the lead, getting up by nine on multiple occasions, before it was a team defensive effort to tie the game up halfway through the second half at 45-all. The Hawks scored six straight to gain a comfortable lead, but it was short lived as the Scots chipped away until Smith sunk a jumper tying the game at 56 with just over a minute left in regulation. With the two ticks Hartford hit one from downtown to secure the three point led and 56-59 victory.  Â
