How It Happened
- With the score at 3-3 after the first 15 minutes of action, Gordon quickly took the lead in the second after a Lapia goal to lead, 4-3. However, the home team retaliated with four straight goals to go on top, 7-4 with 5:34 to go in the frame. The blue and white battled back with two goals of their own to cut the deficit to just a single goal at halftime.
- The Scots would not go away in the third, just as Clark would score, the Fighting Scots came right back on the other end to find the back of the net. Gordon finished off the third with two straight goals thanks to Piorkowski and Hailey Beling to put Gordon back in front, 11-10 heading into the final quarter.
- Mini sealed the deal for her squad as the sophomore went on a tear in the fourth with three goals to bring home the 14-13 victory.Â
