Kicking off Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action this afternoon, Gordon College Men's Tennis welcomed the Rams of Suffolk University to the Brigham Athletic Complex where the Fighting Scots defeated the visitors, 9-0 to open up conference play at 1-0.

The Fighting Scots nearly won all doubles matches by identical scores as John Marineau and James Wellborn won 8-2 in the No. 3 slot, Jeffrey Bodner and Lucas Barnes picked up the 8-2 W in No. 2 action, while Joshua Noel and Carleton Riester secured the 8-3 win on the first court.

With the 3-0 advantage heading into singles, the blue and white continued to dominate, sweeping singles to secure the 9-0 victory. Highlighting singles was Marineau who blanked his counterpart, 6-0, 6-0 in No. 6 action. 

Next up for the blue and white is another conference tilt against the Nichols College Bison on Tuesday, March 28 at 3 p.m.
