After a short break from Conference action, Gordon College Men's Tennis hosted the Nichols College Bison for a CCC match-up at the Brigham Athletic Complex where the Fighting Scots fell, 7-2.
The Bison started off hot, sweeping the Scots on all three doubles courts even though Gordon put up a fight on court No. 1 and No. 2 before falling, 5-8 and 6-8, respectfully.
Meanwhile,
Ezekiel Hall did his job for the Fighting Scots, overcoming his opponent after a close first set (7-5) in the first set before clinching the win, 6-3 in the next to give Gordon their first point of the afternoon. The second Scot to earn another point for Gordon was
Jeffrey Bodner who shutout his Nichols counterpart, 6-4, 7-6. However, the Bison went on to win the rest of the matches to lock in the 7-2 win.
The Fighting Scots are back in action on Saturday, April 8 when they travel to Springfield, Massachusetts to square up against Western New England at noon.
