Taking a break from conference action this evening, Gordon College Men's Soccer traveled to take on the Framingham State Rams where the Fighting Scots were triumphant over their hosts, 1 - 0.

How It Happened

• The Fighting Scots held the upper hand in possession and offensive pressure throughout the entire first quarter but the Rams' defense was able to keep the blue and white from scoring as the score read 0 - 0 at halftime.
• In the 85th minute, Noah Martin fed Benny Simpson who broke up the scoreless night to put Gordon on top, 1 - 0.
• Framingham State attempted to end the game in a tie, but Gordon keeper Hudson Bennett kept the ball out of the net to secure the victory for the Scots.

• Benny Simpson booked his first game-winner of the season.
• The Scots return to action on Saturday, September 23 as they travel to face Hartford aat 7 p.m.
