How It Happened
- In the opening minutes, Hartford held the slight 5-3 edge, but the Fighting Scots stormed back to go on top, 15-5 with just under 14 minutes remaining in the half. Both sides went point for point as Hartford came within two, but the blue and white kept the Hawks at an arm's length to hold the 33-26 advantage at the break.
- The Hawks came out of the locker room looking to regain the lead, but despite Hartford locking up the score a handful of times, Gordon continued to answer back with a timely basket. After a three-pointer from Yu at the 5:30 mark, the Fighting Scots did not look back as they earned the gritty three-point road victory.
