Gordon College Field Hockey welcomed the Plymouth State Panthers to the Brigham Athletic Complex this evening where the Fighting Scots' defense held strong as the Panthers were able to take the slim victory, 2-0.

How It Happened

• In the first quarter, the Scots' Allyson Stauffer made five saves to keep the Panthers off the board.
• Stauffer continued to be a brick wall with six saves in the second frame, however, the Panthers chipped one in the cage to lead 1-0 at the break.
• Gordon's defense kept the visitors frustrated with 12 total saves in the second half, allowing just one more goal from Plymouth State.

• Emma Darling has tied her career-high in defensive saves after recording her third on the season tonight.
• Gordon has a long lay-off as they return to the field on Thursday, October 10 to host the Lasell Lasers.
