The Gordon College Field Hockey team took to Cambridge, Mass. to play the No. 15 Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The nationally ranked MIT squad took a 10-0 win over the Scots.

How It Happened

• Goalie Allyson Stauffer saved eight shots in the first quarter for the Fighting Scots. In the second quarter Haylee Briggs came in at goalie and made three saves. The first half came to an end with a 7-0 Engineers lead.
• The Scots defense stepped up only allowing three goals in the second half against the No. 15 Engineers. The game resulted in a 10-0 MIT win.

• The Fighting Scots return to action at home for senior day on Saturday, October 19 against Elms College.
