Hosting the Emerson College Lions this afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex for Homecoming Weekend, Gordon College Men's Tennis made it two wins in a row as the Fighting Scots marched out to a 6-1 victory over the Lions.
How It Happened
- Enric Porcar and Jeffrey Bodner kicked off the day in winning fashion, 6-1, in No. 1 doubles. Lucas Barnes and Joshua Noel followed suit with a 6-2 win to seal the doubles point. Despite the doubles victory already in Gordon's hand, Diego Pizzaro and Vittal Harith still bettered their counterpart, 6-2 on the No. 2 court.
- Bodner continued to roll in No. 3 doubles with the initial singles dub, followed by Victor Arrese Mata in No. 2 singles (6-3, 7-5). Sealing the win for the home team was Pizarro who earned a 6-0, 6-2 win on the No. 4 singles court.Â
- Adding to their winning tally, Barnes and Harith both came out on top in their respective courts to make it a 6-1 win.
Today's match wraps up the fall slate for the Fighting Scots who will resume play in the spring.
