How It Happened
- Lasell bolted out to a 10-point lead in the opening minutes, but a trio of jumpers from behind the arc from Steely lifted the Scots within two with 9:06 to go in the half (20-18).
- During a 60 second span, Daniel scored seven straight Gordon points to lock up the scoreboard before trailing by one point with 6:02 on the clock. The Lasers began to regroup and slightly widen the gap to 44-38 at the break.
- In the second, the visitors kicked off the half with a dunk to set the tempo and eventually stretched their advantage to double digits once again, but Gordon's Bryce Smith found the bottom of the net to make it a seven-point game. However, the Lasers continued to push and came out with the eventual win.
