Brennan Earns All-American Status With Thirteenth Place Finish At National Championship

MEET RESULTS

The greatest Gordon College Women's Cross Country runner in Gordon history, Rachel Brennan battled against the best student-athletes in the Nation this morning at the NCAA DIII Women's Cross Country National Championship in Terre Haute, Indiana.

By The Numbers
  • Brennan was the 13th runner to cross the finish line on the 6k all grass course thanks to a time of 21:22.0, which was just .05 away from a personal record.
  • The veteran runner trusted the game plan from the start, running with the pack in 25th place by the 3k marker before gliding up to 17th at the 5k mark and ultimately 13th.
Brennan's incredible performance earned her All-American honors (top-40). Today's results also marks Brennan's best showing at the National Championship. A season ago, Brennan came in 63rd after a time of 22:12.1.
