How It Happened
  • In the opening minutes, the Warriors drew first blood as they scored back-to-back goals to go on top, 2-0. However, the Fighting Scots chipped away as Wright knocked in the first goal for the blue and white, and then two thirds of the way through, Buccella evened up the score 2-2 to round out the first quarter.
  • Both squads traded goals to tie up the score again in the first few minutes, but the blue and white tallied in two more goals thanks to plays by Buccella and Ryan Long, putting the Scots up 5-3 at half.
  • The Warriors came out on the attack as they scored the first two goals of the third quarter evening up the score at 5-5 at the 5:18 mark, but in the final 15 second of the quarter as Arthur's shot from Caden Lake put the Scots up 6-5 as he connected with the back of the net.
  • As the fourth quarter began the Warriors scored four unanswered goals, going up 6-9 with 5:22 remaining. Arthur broke the drought for the Scots scoring a behind-the-back goal giving the momentum to the blue and white, as Wright found the back of the net again, followed quickly by teammate, Marco Fernadez, who tied up the score 9-9 with 1:42 minutes remaining. The Warriors retailed with 33 seconds remaining going up 9-10 to take the eventual win.
