The Fighting Scots Baseball team started off their spring break voyage with their first double-header of the season against the Greyhounds of Moravian University in Auburndale, Florida. The Fighting Scots fell to the Greyhounds 6-5 and 12-8. 

Game 1

• Gordon started off strong scoring three runs in the top of the first inning to quickly hold the advantage. 
• Moravian slowly chipped away, scoring one run in the next two innings, before plating three in the home half of the third to flip the script, 5-3. 
• Relievers, Mike Williams and Kevin Whalen did not surrender a hit in the fourth or fifth innings to keep it a two run game (5-3).
• Alex Razzaboni led off the sixth with a single through the left side, and eventually came around to score off a wild pitch to close the gap to one. 
• In their last opportunity, CJ Demers singled to left to start the rally and to score the tying run (5-5). However, the Greyhounds used a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh to come out with the 6-5 win. 

Game 2 

• Moravian set the tempo with a five-run first inning before going on top, 11-2 heading into the bottom of the sixth. 
• The Fighting Scots were patient at the plate before hitting three straight singles, to score six runs in the sixth frame, shrinking the gap 11-8. 
• In the bottom of the seventh, the Scots loaded the bases with two walks and a single by Jonathan McIntyre, but the Greyhounds got out of the inning unscathed.

Beyond The Box Score

• Freshman, Alex Razzaboni, recorded his first career hit in game one. 
• In game two, for his first career start, Evan Clark, reached base in all four at bats, drawing four walks. 
• Jonathan McIntyre had a season-high three hits in game two. 
• The Scots are back in action tomorrow (March 2) facing the Husson University Eagles at 1:30 p.m. in Davenport, Florida.
