Gordon College Men's Tennis competed in their third match of their Hilton Head Spring Break as they took on the Pfeiffer University Falcons. The Fighting Scots battled but were defeated 7-2.
The Falcons booked the first victory of the day in No. 2 doubles (8-5), before getting the better of Gordon's No. 3 duo, 8-4. Going point for point on the No. 1 court were
Jeffrey Bodner and
Ezekiel Hall who brought it to 7-7 before the Falcons pulled ahead 8-7 to go on top, 3-0 heading into singles.
Pfeiffer solidified the win after picking up two early wins to start singles. The Scots saw wins from Hall (6-2, 7-5) and
Larson Benthem (8-3).
The Fighting Scots return to action tomorrow, Tuesday, March 5 at 1 p.m., to face-off against John Carroll University Blue Streaks.
