To cap off their spring break trip, Gordon College Men's Lacrosse took on the North Central Cardinals at Delaware County Christian School, where the Cardinals came away with the 15-8 win. 

For the Fighting Scots, John Flemmi, Nick Buccella, and Marco Fernandez each tallied two goals each and Caden Lake recorded two assist and one goal. James Wheeler had seven ground balls and caused two turnovers, and Aiden Walsh booked nine ground balls, while keeper, Colin Liscomb registered 18 saves.

Luke Illgen netted six goals, while teammate Rylan McQueary dished out four assist and three goals. 

How It Happened

• With 2:30 left in the first, senior Fernandez split up the Cardinals' scoring spree to make it a 5-1 game. 
• The Cardinals found the back of the net six more times to hold the 11-1 advantage at halftime.
• Early in the third, Buccella and Fernandez fired in two straight goals within a minute and a half span, but North Central remained in control down the stretch, despite Gordon outscoring the Cardinals 4-0 in the fourth, but they were still able to claim the victory over the Scots.

• In the three of the five games, Marco Fernandez has scored two goals. 
• Nick Buccella has scored multiple goals in back-to-back games. 
• The Scots return home next week and host Johnson & Wales on Wednesday, March 13 at 4 p.m. at the Brigham Athletic Complex.
