For their second meeting in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play, Gordon College Baseball took the short trip over the Endicott College to face the No. 1 Nationally ranked Gulls where the Fighting Scots fell to their hosts, 10-0.

How It Happened

• Mike Williams retired the side in the Gulls' initial chance in the bottom half of the first. An inning later, the home team was able to get on the board thanks to a lead-off single that came around to score (1-0).
• Endicott orchestrated a five-hit inning in the bottom of the third to plate three runs and widen the gap to 4-0.
• Gordon's pitching staff held Endicott to just one hit in the following three innings to keep it a four-run game. 
• In the home half of the seventh, the Gulls, however, brought six runs across to come out with the league win.

Beyond The Box Score

• Senior Andrew Hartman extended his hit-streak to seven games.
• Through 2.1 innings of work, rookie pitcher Mike Williams struck out three batters which marks a career-high in CCC action.
• The Scots return to action on Thursday, April 25 as they travel up to New Hampshire for a non-conference contest against the Plyouth State Panthers at 4 p.m.
