Gordon College Baseball hit the road this afternoon to square off against the Panthers of Plymouth State University (PSU) on their home field where the Panthers scored 10 runs in the fourth to come out with the 20-10 win over the Fighting Scots.

How It Happened

• Evan Clark put Gordon on the board early after he belted a three-run shot over the right field fence in the top of the first inning (3-0).
• In the home half of the third, PSU hit one out of the park to bring the score to 3-1.
• After Jacob Blake raced home on a wild pitch (4-1), Andrew Hartman lifted a shot over the right field fence to widen the gap to 7-1 in the fourth inning.
• Following suit in the home half of the inning, the Panthers crossed the plate 10 times to flip the script and go on top, 11-7.
• PSU began to pull away in the fifth inning en route to the eventual non-league win.

Beyond The Box Score

• Andrew Hartman matched his career-high of five RBI as well as hit his second home run of the season.
• Evan Clark knocked in a career-high three RBI today.
• The Scots return to J. Tec White Field tomorrow, April 26 to host the Albertus Magnus Falcons at 3 p.m.
