The Gordon College Women's Lacrosse team took to the road as they traveled down to Bristol, Rhode Island to take on the Hawks of Roger Williams University (RWU) in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play, where the Fighting Scots fell to the Hawks 26-2.Â

Brooke Roberti picked up four ground balls. Â

Julia Kelley notched seven goals with 10 assists, while teammates
Allie Shamberger and
Kimmy Creegan tapped in three goals.Â
How It Happened
- In the first quarter of play, the home team came out hot taking an 11-0 start. To open up the second quarter, Roger Williams scored another goal, before Gordon took advantage of a free position shot scoring goal number one (14-1).Â
- The Hawks continued to strike after the break as they tallied five goals in the third period, but the blue and white tacked another goal in the fourth period, as Piorkowski knocked in the second shot (26-2).Â
