In their second game in as many days, Gordon College Field Hockey took the short trip to Weston, Massachusetts to battle the Pride of Regis College where the home team blanked the Fighting Scots, 3-0.

How It Happened

• Just two minutes after the opening whistle, Regis was able to direct a shot into the back of the cage to lead 1-0.
• Sarah Bourk opened up the second quarter with a shot, but it was eventually blocked to keep the blue and white from locking the score up. Near the end of the half, the Pride tacked on another to hold the 2-0 advantage at halftime. 
• Five saves from Gordon's gritty keeper Allyson Stauffer along with a defensive save from Emma Darling kept Regis from scoring in the third quarter, but the home team added a final tally in the fourth to take the 3-0 win over Gordon.

Beyond The Box Score

• Allyson Stauffer nearly doubled her saves from yesterday afternoon with a season-high nine saves.
• The Scots hit the road once again on Wednesday, September 4 as they travel up to Nashua, N.H. to play the Rivier Raiders at 7 p.m.
