The Gordon College Fighting Scots' Mens Soccer team took on Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. Tuesday night. The game concluded in a 1-1 tie after a clutch Gordon goal in the final minutes of the game.

How It Happened

• The Babson Beavers struck in the 9th minute of the game to take a 1-0 lead after a series of corners. Fighting Scots' Keeper Carson Flake kept the ball out of the net the rest of the half with three saves (1-0).
• The Scots defensive effort continued as the offense found their rhyme. The Scots' fired off five shots in the second half putting the pressure on Babson. 
• With under four minutes to go, Freshman Gilbert Daru broke through to level the score 1-1. The game finished in a 1-1 tie after a strong push by the Scots to find the winning goal.

• This marks the first time Gordon Mens Soccer has taken on Babson.
• The Fighting Scots finish off their four game road stint in St. Davids, Pa. playing the Eastern University Eagles Friday, September 13.
