The Gordon College Fighting Scots' Men's Soccer team traveled down to Wayne, Pa. to take on the Eastern Eagles Friday night. Both teams ripped fifteen shots off yet did not break through. The game finished in a 0-0 tie. 

How It Happened

• The Fighting Scots put the pressure on Eastern in the first half, generating seven shots and two corners. The half concluded 0-0 despite the Scots' fast pace.
• The second half remained tight as the Scots fired off eight shots and the Eagles nine with neither squad finding the back of the net. Additionally, the Scots created three more corners than Eastern. 
• Scots' keeper Gunnar Lucuk secured the clean sheet with six saves and lockdown defending from the back line resulting in a 0-0 draw. 

Beyond The Box Score

• This is the first time the Scots have played the Eagles since 1981. 
• This marks the Scots' first clean sheet of the season.
• The Scots return home playing Framingham St. on Tuesday, September 17.
