Gordon College Volleyball traveled up to Nashua, New Hampshire to take on the Raiders of Rivier University where the Fighting Scots defeated the home team, 3-1.

How It Happened

• Tied up at 14-14, the Raiders were able to come out with the first win of the evening, 25-18. 
• Gordon raced out to a 4-1 lead before doubling up their counterparts, 8-4. The blue and white widened the gap to as many as nine before coming out with the 25-22 win (1-1).
• Once again, the Scots came out of the gates to an early edge, stretching the lead to 17-10 before securing the 25-18. 
• A kill from Joey Keltner put Gordon on top, 12-6 and the visitors never looked back en route to the overall 3-1 win (25-18).

Beyond The Box Score

• Joey Keltner recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs.
• Hannah Barham had a career night with eight kills.
• Setters Olivia Fleming and Annika Schmitt both reached double digit assists.
• The Scots return to action on Wednesday, September 18 to host Johnson & Wales at 7 p.m. on Kanas Court.
