The Gordon College Fighting Scots' Mens Soccer team hit the road to take on the Emerson Lions Wednesday night. The Scots battled back and forth but the Lions came away with the 3-2 win.
How It Happened

• Fighting Scots' keeper Carson Flake kept the ball out of the net with five saves in the first half. Meanwhile, Max Cardone put the Scots up one goal, five minutes before halftime (1-0). 
• The Emerson Lions evened the score (1-1) just under a minute into the second half. Scots' Benji Wright capitalized on a penalty kick in the 50th minute to regain the lead (2-1). 
• The Lions scored two more goals to seal the win in the closely contested game (3-2). 

Beyond The Box Score

• Freshman Carson Flake made his first start in goal tonight.
• This is the Fighting Scots' first away game out of their four game road trip.
