Gordon College Men's Basketball traveled to Milton, Mass. for their conference game against the Curry College Colonels. The Fighting Scots could not miss as they hit triple digits in the 102-78 win over the Colonels.

For the Scots, Bernie McGuinness scored 28 points while shooting 80% from the field, Alex Daniel hit 11 points and secured five rebounds, while Drew Brander scored another 11 points.

Favour Okeke scored 19 points for the Colonels, Shawn Charles scored 14 points, and TJ LeCarde scored 11 points. 

How It Happened

• McGuinness hit four straight three pointers to score the Fighting Scots first 12 points.  The Scots held a 35-6 lead over the Colonels 10 minutes into the game. Brander knocked down a three to push the lead to 30 points. McGuiness's 22 points led the Scots to a 56-31 advantage over the Colonels. 
• The Scots went on a 15-2 point run early in the second half. Bryce Smith and McGuinness both scored six points during the run. The scoring spree continued as the Colonels could not contain the Scots. Isaac Jarvis was a force in the paint grabbing rebounds to secure more opportunities for the offense. Bruce McGuire slammed the Colonels chances shut with a dunk. The Fighting Scots took a dominant 102-78 win over the Colonels.

• This is first time the Fighting Scots scored over 100 points this season. 
• Drew Brander scored a career high 11 points. 
• The Fighting Scots return to the court to play Endicott on Saturday, January 25.
