HARTFORD, Conn.- The Gordon College volleyball team claimed a 3-0 victory at Hartford Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Fighting Scots raced out to a 1-0 advantage with a 25-13 win in the first set.
• Gordon captured the second frame 25-17 to extend its lead to 2-0.
• The visitors eked out a 25-22 decision in the third to clinch their eighth sweep of the year.

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Annie Zimmerman (Austin, Texas) recorded a double-double in the match, finishing with 12 kills and 11 digs.
• Haley Hutzler (Long Island, N.Y.) tallied 10 kills to go with seven digs.
• Allison Trogdon (Williamsburg, Va.) added six kills.
• Annika Schmitt (Quincy, Mass.) registered 20 assists seven service aces.
• Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I..) chipped in with 11 digs.
