WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College volleyball team suffered a 3-2 setback to league-leading Roger Williams Saturday afternoon at the Bennett Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gordon captured a 1-0 advantage with a 25-17 win in the opening set.
- Roger Williams responded with a narrow 25-23 decision in the second frame to knot the match at 1-1.
- The Fighting Scots reclaimed a one-set lead, 2-1, with a 25-20 victory in the third.
- The Hawks rattled off four unanswered points to prevail 26-24 in the fourth set.
- Roger Williams triumphed 15-12 in the winner-take-all fifth frame to remain unbeaten in conference competition.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Haley Hutzler (Long Island, N.Y.) tallied a team-high 18 kills to go with 17 digs.
- Annie Zimmerman (Austin, Texas) notched 15 kills and paced Gordon with 21 digs.
- Teagan Brideweser (Warwick, N.Y.) posted nine kills and six total blocks.
- Maria Clarabuch (Sant Cugat Del Valles, Spain.) added eight kills, 11 digs, and four aces.
- Annika Schmitt (Quincy, Mass.) dished out 41 assists while dealing five aces and collecting 16 digs.
- Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I..) registered 19 digs and Alexandra Burnett (Windham, N.H.) chipped in with 11 digs.
