SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- The Gordon College volleyball team notched a 3-0 win at Western New England Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Gordon earned a 25-21 win in the first set to construct a 1-0 lead.
• The visitors triumphed 25-19 in the second frame to widen their advantage to 2-0 in the match.
• The Fighting Scots posted a 25-20 decision in the third to lock up their second league victory and first win at Western New England since 2018.

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Haley Hutzler (Long Island, N.Y.) racked up a match-high 16 kills to go with six digs.
• Annie Zimmerman (Austin, Texas) tallied nine kills and 20 digs.
• Morgan Bruner (Litchfield, N.H.) chipped in with seven kills while Teagan Brideweser (Warwick, N.Y.) added six kills.
• Annika Schmitt (Quincy, Mass.) dished out 37 assists, chalked up 12 digs, and dealt seven service aces.
• Amanda Pierce (Johnston, R.I..) finished with 18 digs.
