BOSTON, Mass.- The Gordon College women's track & field team opened the indoor season Saturday at the Early Bird Invitational hosted at The Track at New Balance and at the Suffolk Relays.
 

TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Lizzie Gaskill claimed three top-10 finishes as she claimed fourth in the 200-meters, seventh in the long jump, and ninth in the 60-meter dash.
• Anissa Lewis posted a program record in the triple jump with a leap of 10.71 meters to earn third.
• Rookie Josie Hendricks made her collegiate debut with a program-record mark of 3.05 meters in the pole vault to capture a fifth-place finish.
• In the 300 meter run, Emily Bengtson earned seventh while Jenna Lindsay placed ninth.

 
THROWERS:

• Gordon's throwers headed to the Suffolk Relays on Saturday where Alivia Geraghty captured a first-place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 15.51 meters.

 
 
LOOKING AHEAD:
Gordon will compete at the Lyon Invitational hosted by Wheaton (Mass.) January 23.
