Goodwin, Bengtson, Lindsay, Sefilino Shines At BU Terrier Classic In Record Breaking Showing

RESULTS

Gordon College Women's Track & Field traveled to the Track & Tennis Center in Boston, Mass. for the BU Terrier Classic on Friday, January 31.

By The Numbers
  • Amaris Goodwin posted a blazing 7.95 in the open 60m dash which placed her at third. She set the track on fire once again in the 200m with a Gordon record breaking 25.18 and sixth place. Goodwin's time in the 200m ranks at 20th in the nation. 
  • Jenna Lindsay had an impressive performance in the 500m as she 1:19.93.
  • Joy Sefilino, Emily Bengtson, Goodwin, and Lindsay teamed up in the 4x400m to run a Gordon record breaking 4:09.88. The previous record of 4:15.90 was set in 2015. 
  • Carolyn Day ran a strong personal best 18:09.66 in the 5k while Caroline Roberts ran another personal best in the mile with 5:36.14.
  • Alivia Geraghty placed seventh in the weight throw. Her best throw stood at 14.98m. 
Next the Fighting Scots return to Boston, Mass. for the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday, February 14.
