BRUNSWICK, Maine- The Gordon College women's track & field team traveled north to take part in the Lynn Ruddy Invitational Saturday hosted by Bowdoin College.
 

TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Josie Hendricks set a new program record in the pole vault with a mark of 3.45 meters to claim a first-place finish.
• Lizzie Gaskill topped the field in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.98 seconds.
• Jenna Lindsay captured first in the 600 meters with a run of 1:40.94.
• Gordon's 4x400 meter relay squad of Jenna Lindsay, Emily Bengtson, Caroline Roberts, and Julie Anderson placed first with a time of 4:21.53.
• Olivia Thornton finished second in the 800 meters at 2:25.73, just .03 seconds behind the top runner in the event.
• Kaylee Bettez posted a time of 20:04.02 in the 5,000 meters to claim second.
• Alivia Geraghty placed third in the weight throw with a toss of 14.11 meters.

Gordon heads to the New England Division III Indoor Championships March 1 at The TRACK at New Balance.
