Gordon College Men's Basketball hosted the Curry College Colonels tonight on Kanas Court in Conference of New England (CNE) play where the Fighting Scots marched past the Colonels, 85-77. 

Gordon's Alex Daniel had a team-high 19 points, Bruce McGuire added 16 points, while Bernie McGuinness and Ryan Brooks scored 11 points a piece.

Curry's Francisco Lopez netted 23 points, Malik Gelinas added 21 points, while Jeremiah Predin chipped in 15 on the night.

How It Happened

• Curry went ahead early in the first half before the blue and white hit back-to-back three's followed by a pair from the foul line to lock up the scoreboard at 13-all with 13 minutes remaining in the frame. Both sides went point for point with the greatest margin being four in favor of the Scots, before with 3:50 on the board before Gordon held on for the 39-36 edge at the break.
• The Scots netted the first basket of the second half before garnering a 10-point lead after a three from McGuinness and a lay up from Daniel with 12:58 to go in regulation. Gordon continued to hold the Colonels at a double-digit arm's length for the remainder of the frame to claim the win.
