BU RESULTS | LYNN RUDY RESULTS

The Gordon College Women's Track & Field Team split up and conquered this weekend with events at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational as well as Bowdoin's Lynn Rudy Invitational. 

Lynn Rudy Invitational

• Alivia Geraghty recorded a distance of 14.45m in the weight throw for second place.
• Caroline Roberts came in second with a time of 5:35.19 in the mile run while teammate Olivia Murch recorded fourth place (5:40.98).
• In the 400m dash, Emily Bengtson nearly took the crown with a time of 1:02.33. 
• Jenna Lindsay smashed a 10-year old record in the 600m run thanks to a time of 1:40.40 to place first.
• Anissa Lewis registered a long jump of 4.95m to take third place.
• Elizabeth Gaskill was the second runner to cross the finish line in the 60m dash as the clock read 8.05.

BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational

• Amaris Goodwin tied her school record in the 200m dash (set February 1) with a time of 25.18 today. Goodwin came in eighth place out of over 100 runners ranging from NCAA Division 1 to Division III.
• Rachel Brennan absolutely demolished the one mile record today, a record she already held and set back in 2021. Brennan registered a time of 4:54.75 to place 112th out of nearly 300 runners with the majority of competitors from the NCAA Division I level from the likes of Oregon, LSU, Florida, Texas, and Tennessee.

Next up for the Scots is the New England Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on February 28 at New Balance.
