Traveling up to Biddeford, Maine today, Gordon College Men's Basketball faced off against the University of New England (UNE) Nor'easters in Conference of New England (CNE) action. The Fighting Scots came out on fire in the first half and didn't let up as they secured the 86-55 victory.

For the Fighting Scots, Treyton Tebbs scored 19 points, Alex Daniel had 18 points, while Bernie McGuinness added 10 points and nine rebounds.

UNE's Zach Boulay booked 11 points, while Jaelen Jackson chipped in eight points. 

How It Happened

• Trailing by four (6-2) in the first minutes of the game, the blue and white dominated, scoring 19 straight unanswered to lead 21-6 with 13:23 to go in the first half. Gordon continued to roll, despite UNE shrinking their deficit to 10 points with 8:08 on the board. The Scots had nine different players score in the first quarter en route to a comfortable 43-27 lead at halftime.
• Tebbs hit the "and one" to give the Scots a 20-point margin with just over five minutes into the second half (57-37). Meanwhile, Daniel netted 13 out of his 18 points in the second as the Scots continued to light up the scoreboard for the 31 point victory.

• Alex Daniel and Treyton Tebbs have each booked double-digit points in two out of the last four games.
• Tebbs tied his season-high with his 19 points today.
• Gordon returns to their home court on Tuesday, February 11 to host the Curry College Colonels at 7:30 p.m.
