RESULTS

Gordon College Women's Indoor Track and Field sent qualifying athletes to the New England Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Track at New Balance in Boston Friday and Saturday. Six programs records fell as the Fighting Scots had a stellar day on the track and in the circle.

Friday

• Amaris Goodwin hit the finish line in just 7.87 seconds in the 60m prelim breaking her own school record and qualifying for finals on Saturday.
• Elizabeth Gaskill's 7.98 in the 60m prelim joined Goodwin as the only athletes to break 8 seconds in program history.
• In the 600m, Jenna Lindsay rewrote her record with a time of 1:39.25 which tied her for ninth place in New England.
• Carolyn Day placed tenth in the 5k as she ran a 18:07.22.
• Another program record fell in the Women's DMR with a time of 13:12.97. The team consisted of Olivia Murch, Emily Bengtson, Jenna Lindsay, Caroline Roberts. 

Saturday

• Alivia Geraghty showed out in the weight throw finishing fifth and breaking her own program record with 16.00m. 
• Rachel Brennan shaved time off her mile record and finished second in New England with a time of 4:54.69.
• In the 200m, Goodwin took down another one of her records and claimed a eighth place finish with a 24.99.
